The Farm

I was approached by a couple at the Peoria Art Festival to photograph a family property near there. The client received a project estimate and time line before the work started. Working from his basic outline and supplied reference photography, I spent two days on the property, making over 100 images. They allowed me to stay on the property unsupervised, and let me use one of their ATVs to get around the place. He also gave me a hand-drawn map of the 400 acre property. The assignment included post-production and a magnificent printed volume of the best work. Since the main lodge had no wall space, the printed work seemed the best way to preserve the images. Edited files were also turned over to the client on completion of the project.

The main clubhouse is cozy, with views over a private lake, and three family cabins.
